I'm excited about the idea of working on your team. Your job description made me think, "Wow! Not only do I know I can knock this job out of the park I would really enjoy doing it too!".
I'm not just looking for any old job. I'm looking for a great match. A job I can perform exceptionally well while also being a positive supportive member of a team. As far as I can tell your open position is one of these. That's why I contacted you and gave you this site.
I literally grew up in business. As a baby, I was in a crib in my grandparents' pet supply business and I grew up in that environment. Whenever I work for someone I think about my grandparents and I strive to be as valuable to my employer as I wished my grandparents' employees had been for them.
I'm a web development veteran of 21 years. I have deep experience throughout the website development lifecycle. Over the years I've worked directly with the marketing, design, and technical teams of some of the biggest names in media and the tech industry. Though I have experience on the backend, like writing PHP and Perl server side web applications, managing SQL databases and administering server hardware and software, the last 9 years have been devoted to front end development.
At my latest job, with Optimost, I worked with a team distributed around the globe. My primary task was to convert client requirements gleaned from phone calls and documents into functioning alternate versions of sites for our clients for the purpose of A/B and multivariate testing. In my time at Optimost I completed roughly 1,000 of these projects working with over 85 different companies. I constantly had to code to tight deadlines with bug free, efficient code. Since the nature of the job was so fast paced and high pressure, I developed a talent for quickly solving problems with new technologies and techniques and doing so with a positive and disarming attitude.
My value on a team is being someone with a high level of technical knowledge who also combines that with the ability to effectively communicate one-on-one with clients or from a stage. I not only understand technical concepts I implement them. Then I can be that technical expert that can be on calls with clients to make sure our offerings are communicated correctly the first time. My studies revolve around enhancing that balance.
I'll add experience to your team. Over the past 21 years I eventually stopped facing new problems just flavors of the same old issues. For all of these companies big and small I've performed a wide array of services. By hiring me you'll hire someone who has "done it before".

I have a lovely wife of 11 years. She's a very talented Speech-Language Pathologist. She specializes in helping children with autism spectrum disorder. I also have a 4 year old son and a 1 year old daughter. They keep me on my toes and I'm very proud of all of them!
Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio I've lived in Fairfax, VA; Indiana, PA; Champaign/Urbana, IL; San Jose/Sunnyvale, CA and now Firestone, CO just north of Denver.
I'm a Christian and I love talking about the doctrines of grace. In my free time (how rare that is! haha!) I enjoy cooking, skiing, visiting theme parks, reading non-fiction and studying marketing. I love marketing!
